Australian based fashion label St Goliath hit the scene in early 2003. Launched by Matt Armstrong, Aaron Prichard and Pete Cadwick, their intention was to create an edgy yet down to earth range encompassing T-shirts, shorts, shirts, hoodies, knitwear and jacketing that would appeal to the young outgoing urban guy, giving him great fashion while still leaving him enough cash in his pocket to indulge his other passions.

Very quickly the major retailers in Australia and New Zealand, like David Jones, Glue Store, Universal Store and Meccano, saw the epic down to earth value and considered design qualities of the brand. Within a few seasons, St Goliath has become a country wide phenomenon stocked by all the major retailers and worn by well known personalities, up and coming movie stars and football heroes who all love the casual quality, detail and innovation that St Goliath has to offer. Today you wouldn't struggle to find a guy a chilling out with his mates at backyard BBQ, trying his luck with a gorgeous hot girl at 3am in a club or loosing his voice at a footy game supporting his team, who wasn't proudly wearing St Goliath.

The collections, incorporate the guys own personal statements on pop culture, music and artistic imagery and lifestyle. Every design has something to say. St Goliath's recent trip whirlwind round the world trip to the US, UK and Japan provided a brilliant insight into current trends and influences that inspired their collection. The time spent in downtown Manhattan, Soho & Brooklyn can be seen in the range's athletic and graphic inspired T's, the late nights on the icy streets of London inspired utilitarian yet detailed jacketing and knitwear and the tiny unknown back alley stores of Tokyo provide treasures calling out for vintage revision that inspired the range of shirting. St Goliath continues to present artistic and thoughtful designs and have remained true to this design philosophy. Their integrity together with their ever evolving collections has pushed them to the forefront of the Australian youth fashion scene.
