This was the creed of the brand’s founder, Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain when he opened the first Guerlain shop in 1828.

For 182 years, Guerlain has been a 3 axis brand, creating perfumes, make-up products and skincare programmes to enhance women's beauty. A DYNASTY OF PERFUMERS
The dynasty was built by four Guerlain masters of perfumery, a know-how and passion passed on through the Guerlain family.

In 2008, Thierry Wasser entered the house’s spiritual and olfactory lineage, and his appointment as Guerlain’s perfumer has consolidated his place in Guerlain's history.
